What would YOU store in there?

One of the pieces of furniture we brought back from my in-laws’ condo was this wooden cabinet. It was intended for CDs — it was packed with theirs.

Editing to note that it’s not an antique, it’s clearly designed for CDs, just in the style of a card catalog. It’s undoubtedly from Pottery Barn or similar.

I was thinking I could use it for my dried flowers, like the other cabinet (see dried blue thistle / eryngium).

But I realized when I put some little dried mums in there that the drawers don’t come fully out, which makes it much less functional — it means I can’t easily empty them completely to clean them and swap out for different flowers, and also that I can’t easily shift them around to keep them in alphabetical order, which would make it much easier to find particular flowers.

So I think this cabinet will be relegated to some other kind of storage instead. Not sure what yet — I could put all kinds of little things in there, but for coherence and organization, it’d be ideal if they were all the same KIND of thing. Jewelry findings, maybe?

Thoughts welcome. What would YOU store in there?
