Got my copy of House Rules (I think the British edition) in the mail today! I’m very fond of the story I wrote for this, which first gave me permission to spend a few days immersed in P.G. Wodehouse’s Bertie and Jeeves novels, and then let me create a bisexual South Asian woman version of Bertie, which was just such fun to write. 🙂
You don’t need to have read any other Wild Cards books to enjoy this one, I think. Various WC characters (some established, some new, like my Lady Sri) show up at a mysterious House, and then chaos ensues.
If my brag shelf is a complete representation (not positive that it is), that makes 7 Wild Cards books I’m a part of. That’s nice.
(EDIT: Checked, and it should actually be 8. I’m missing a copy of Fort Freak.)
