We’re back from taking the ACT in Kankakee — Kavi had enough time, though just barely; she finished the math with 20 seconds to spare.
She felt like she mostly knew the answers, although we apparently should’ve reviewed punctuation rules a bit — there was one question that she says she answered “based mostly on vibes”. But we went over it, and we think she got that one right. 🙂
Pictured below, Kevin helping Kavi study for the math — they did an hour or so together every day or so this past week.
Kavi’s not much of a study-er (more of a party-er), but she’s starting to get a little more ambitious, so is occasionally willing to actually study now (rather than just doing the required homework). She’s currently thinking she wants to be a doctor, so she’s going to need to ramp up the studying quite a lot, but she probably has a little time to get there.
