Alas, alack — I have COVID (for the first time). I feel basically fine; it’s like the mildest cold I’ve ever had. No fever or other serious symptoms. I had a cough travelling home yesterday, and I tested last night.
I’m isolating from the family for a few days (no hugs, v. sad), once the cough goes away, will switch to masking for a few more days (and probably still mostly avoiding people outside my family).
I’m lucky that this is happening now; I have almost nothing scheduled in July except to write and make art, and I should be able to keep doing that just fine. Maybe with a little extra resting thrown in, should I feel I need it.
Anyway — I think I’ve contacted everyone I hung out with the last week, so mostly just posting this to be conscientious and cover my bases, in case I missed anyone. If you were in touch with me last week and develop any symptoms, please test. Thanks!
