I’m missing my crafting supplies! But I will see them again soon — we go back tomorrow. Local friends who do resin, if you ever want to borrow molds and experiment with them, let me know!
Yesterday was a bit of a bust — I didn’t realize the Egyptian museum was only open Fri – Sun. The kids were not so enthused about doing anything else, so we ended up just having lunch at The Diner of Los Gatos (Kavi is a big fan of their very American very bland food).
Then came back to the hotel for them to veg out some more, while I played with watercolors and then went to join Susan Lee and Cliff Winnig for coffee at Great Bear, where we tried to catch up on everything in 90 minutes; it was a little frenetic.
I’m getting stir-crazy, so today, I’m dragging them all to go see some redwoods at Henry Cowell, then lunch in Santa Cruz and stop at the Mystery Spot (a gravitational anomaly?) on the way back. I’m estimating 4 hours for that, but Ann thinks it’ll take longer. We’ll see!
