Quick lit. question — does anyone know if Natasha Pulley identifies as trans? I’m just finishing _The Half Life of Valery K_, and there are a few lines towards the end that indicate the protagonist might be trans.
I think I’ve read all of Pulley’s novels at this point, and while the setting of each is very different, there are enough similarities between them in terms of (generally very repressed) gay romance and attitudes about gender roles, that I’m finding myself really curious.
(Not that it really matters, in some sense, but if I ever were to write an article about her work, I’d want to be aware / respectful of the author’s identity in it.)
