Chicago really isn’t that cold most of the winter these days, thanks to climate change, but we do get the occasional day like today (and tomorrow), where the cold hurts my face and I come home from work and make a cup of tea and light some candles (mostly symbolic warmth) and climb into the bed with mattress warmer going full blast (actual warmth and plenty of it).
Can I just stay in this bed until spring? I’m pretty sure that’s what humans are meant to do in this weather…
