Virginia creeper, yellow toadflax (aka butter-and-eggs, isn’t that great?), acorn, aster, turtlehead / chelone.
If I spent a ridiculous amount of time hunting, I could maybe forage enough acorns to survive, this time of year. At least I know enough to leach them to remove the tannins that would otherwise make them poisonous. I still wonder how people figured that bit out…starvation and desperation, I expect.
