My gums are a disaster, so today I’m in for deep cleaning at the periodontist, which now includes bonus lasers (a relatively new alternative to oral surgery). They do half the mouth today, half later. Expect me to be sore and somewhat cranky for the rest of the day.
I did think this x-ray was cool, though. This one is from the oral surgeon, who wants to take out my two remaining wisdom teeth. I’ll probably let her, once the deep cleaning is done.
Kevin is also having similar work done, and our insurance only covers about a third of it. As he said yesterday, between the new roof and the dental work, this is the most boring $40,000 we’ve ever spent. Glad we have it to spend, though.
