Packing last night while Kevin walked Anand up for ice cream — they brought me back cheesecake and berry ice cream, yum. Off now to the airport to New York for the Tamil Pioneer Award ceremony at FeTNA. Not sure how formal a thing this is, so my suitcase is jammed with both a fancy sari and a slightly more casual salwar kameez.
Figure I’ll decide when I get there, but I did have to pack shoes for both, so it’s sort of goofy — I have four outfits and four pair of shoes for three days. Oh well! Today I’m dressed casually for travel, but I did pull out my Tamil name necklace — on theme!
