Okay, today is a day when I have nothing scheduled, Jed is visiting, and I have lots of questions. So I think I will be asking for advice here all day, on various things. If you are bored, please come help me. 
It’s snowing and cold outside, but my Trader Joe’s grape hyacinths were a welcome pop of spring. Since they’re planted in soil, I think I can plant them in the garden when they finish (and the soil warms up a bit), and they should come back next year, fingers crossed.
