Was stressing out because I forgot to charge my computer before coming into campus today OR pack a power cord, and I need it for teaching again at 3 so I can Zoom in a student with disabilities who can’t attend class in person.
Was trying to figure out if I could possibly stretch it long enough to survive class, or maybe use my phone for the Zoom, but that was also low on charge, argh.
Finally I realized that I should just go to the campus bookstore and buy a power cord to keep in my office so this doesn’t happen again and I can stop fretting about it. Esp. since Mac power cords used to be $200, but now they’re more like $90.
Nice to be able to throw money at this problem AND to have the money on hand to do it.
