One of the great blessings of my life is how well Kavi and Anand get along. I know a lot of terrific parents whose kids squabble constantly; I really don’t know why ours don’t. Just their natural temperaments, I think — when Kavi was little, she was always the peacemaker in her friend group. I’m just grateful.
This is 14 and a half, and almost-12.
