Should you be looking for a nice place to have a drink and some deliciousness in Corte Madera, you should check out Flores. I don’t generally expect restaurants tucked into malls to be memorable, but everything here was really very good!
Queso fundido with mushrooms (Kevin doesn’t like mushrooms, so I tend to order them while travelling), a fried cod taco (he doesn’t eat fish, so ditto), and fried plantains, just because plantains are irresistible. Yum — thanks to David for finding this place! Lovely dinner, and the “La Piñata” cocktail is also delish: tequila, mezcal, manzanilla, spicy pineapple. They smoked the rosemary sprig on top, and it smelled so good…
