Teach Me Patience

Hm. This looks a little higgledy-piggledy to me; my climber is blooming up at the top (not surprising, it’s reaching for the sun in the part-shade where I planted it; running out of sun, folks!), and the new shrub roses which I’m hoping will provide mid-height blooms are going to take a few years to get to that size. Check back in 3 years to see what this flower bed is supposed to look like?

Maybe gardening will teach me patience; surely nothing else has so far. 🙂

From center top: Crown Princess Margareta climbing rose, purple alliums, gold irises, Munstead Wood dark pink rose, Cinco de Mayo rose, centaurea montana, allium nectaroscordum bulgaricum, white alliums.
