I packed a bunch of small board / card games (there’s a basic deck of cards on site for your use, if you don’t feel like packing anything), and the kids voted for Unstable Unicorns. So we spent an hour or so playing that, although I want to note that when an 10-year-old and a 14-year-old team up and play ALL the downgrade cards on Mommy, Mommy really doesn’t have much of a shot!
Hot tea helped take the edge of chill off…
