When Fabrics Arrive

It’s always an exciting day when Spoonflower fabrics arrive. I used their ‘fill-a-yard’ option to proof various color ways for my Wall o’ Plants (I went for muted tones on this one), which is efficient and cost-effective for proofing, but now I’m not quite sure what to do with this. I had some vague idea that I could maybe make masks or some such — I don’t think that’s really going to work that well. Hm.

That long strip at the top seems like it should be good for something — I think I can probably get a cute lumbar cushion out of that. But the rest, I’m feeling uninspired. If you’re a local sewist and would like the rest of the fabric to play with, let me know!

Available on Spoonflower now, as both fabric and already-sewn goods: https://www.spoonflower.com/…/461079-wall-o-plants-by…
