Investing in Outdoor Cheer

I’ve never really did outside winter planter decor for the holidays before, but I decided to go for it this year, since we weren’t doing much indoors. (Can you find the cat in the first photo?)

The Oak Park Conservatory winter greens market provided the base for it, and then I supplemented with various twigs and branches, including, for the first time, holly and red twig dogwood that had finally grown big enough that I could trim from my own garden, very satisfying.

Much of this I should be able to store and use again in future years, so feels like a good investment in outdoor cheer!
