I did say I might make tea towels with these quotes, right? I hit a wall on grading, so took 30 minutes to do these. Happy.
“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.” — Sarah Williams
“For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me want to dream.” — Vincent van Gogh
Proofs ordered; should hopefully have them available in a week or so, both on Spoonflower and in my own shop. I couldn’t decide which font I liked better, so I used two different ones. Maybe seeing them in person will win me over to one or the other, in which case, I may upload a revision, so feel free to opine.
I’m a little worried that the thin white lines of the Williams quote’s font won’t print cleanly on fabric; I gather that can be an issue with thin white lines, that they need to be at least 4-5 pixels thick, to not blur with the bleeding of the darker ink.
UPDATE: Eep, just noticed I somehow lost two words on the van Gogh quote. This is why we proof, people. Will fix it in revision.
