The next Spoonflower tea towel challenge is ‘kitchen wisdom’. I had two ideas:
– your Sri Lankan spice shelf: cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, fennel seed, fenugreek, etc.
– “Yes, it’s edible!” — a selection of edible flowers: borage, carnations, chive blossoms, chrysanthemums, cornflowers, dahlias, daisies, dandelion, dianthus, forsythia, fuchsias, hibiscus, honeysuckle*, gladiolus, impatiens, jasmine**, lavender, lilac, marigold, nasturtiums, pansies, primrose, redbud, rose, snapdragon, stock, strawberry blossoms, sunflower, violets, etc.
Any preferences which I design as a tea towel? And what are your favorites of either that I should definitely include?
* honeysuckle berries are poisonous
** only one variety of jasmine is edible
