10:17 — It took me a little longer than I’d hoped to get back to writing; the garden is seductive, and there are always more little tasks to do.
But I was back in the chair by 9:20, and went pretty quickly through revisions to chapters 2 and 3. Some restructuring as I went, but mostly I was making everything a little more coherent with the new focus. I think it works? Will be curious to see what first readers think of it.
Up to 7505 words. Breaking for now — a little more gardening, maybe a swim and a fluffy magazine, then settling in for e-mail, etc. this afternoon. Good progress.
