Morning walk — summer beauty allium and artemisia. I like the symmetry of design here, with the mulch, though it’s tricky — you can see the artemisia is starting to die back at the center. I think you’d need to divide it conscientiously to avoid that, and I’m not that careful a gardener — I tend to plant more thickly instead, so the other plants hold up the floppy ones. That’s the plan anyway.
