Played 10 minutes backyard badminton with husband. Fun, but oh, I am not good with the running. We just got the set, so we’re both terrible, but we’ll get there. (The kids are worse, but we’re hoping they’ll get into it.)
I do like this portable set with portable net a lot — I’m hoping we’ll turn into more of a camping / sporting family, and this is the sort of thing you can easily bring to a forest preserve and set up in a clearing. Note that it was originally $60 (and well worth it, I think), and is now marked up a bit on Amazon resellers since it’s currently out of stock — you may want to poke around elsewhere if you’re looking for it.
