Yesterday, hosted a politics-focused book club, that I hope will turn into a monthly event, which will help motivate me to actually read the nonfiction books I feel like I ought to read. Today, hosting Oak Park progressive women of color for potluck-style brunch. Hosting motivates me to actually clean up — if I have people over weekly, that helps keep the place from ever getting too messy.
I am all about the life hacks this weekend. 🙂 Now, off to make some mango fluff. Should’ve really done it last night, but I think it should have time to set before 11 if I jump on it now.
