Quick note that I have now opened a campaign bank account, but there are a few more steps before I can take donations — I need to send the bank a letter outlining the purpose of the account (just a few brief lines) and get a note from the Village Clerk that I’m actually a candidate, in order to have one of their no-fees non-profit / campaign accounts.
