Home again, home again…

The children have been fed and Kavi’s homework is done, and after their baths (in progress), we’re going to watch a show together and then I’ll put them to bed. I have entirely abandoned any responsibility for getting Anand to do homework this week, because it was just beyond me somehow, but aside from that, and with the aid of some paid babysitting and yard work, we have survived another ten days with Kevin out of town relatively unscathed.

Kevin’s flight is actually coming in tonight and arriving a little early, so hooray. Can’t WAIT. He doesn’t have any more trips scheduled for months. I admit, I’m glad that Kevin isn’t the sort of partner who is forever jetting off here and there for work. I am perfectly happy to do a fair bit of jetting off myself — in fact, I get antsy if I’m in one place for too long. I can cope okay when he goes away, but I can’t say I like it. It’s a good thing not everything in a partnership needs to be exactly equal. 🙂
