Yesterday: Taught my classes, giving students the opportunity to anonymously express their thoughts / fears. Attended support meeting / protest in quad organized by Gender and Women Studies faculty. Checked in with upset students and colleagues. Wrote post trying to explain hotelling problem, race to the center, and importance of moving the Overton window. Shared posts about racist language and violence in wake of election.
Today: Set up monthly donations to ACLU and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Working on a post / essay about why people don’t vote.
Sunday: Planning to attend a community policy discussion group, held in someone’s home.
