Kavi and Anand were kind of upset yesterday to find out that they can’t get married to each other when they grow up. They were somewhat mollified when we told them that they could totally live together, and that if they wanted, they could marry other people and all live together in one house with their kids, if they decided to have kids. And if they really wanted, they could even invite their aged parents to live with them.
Considering the culture we live in, I doubt they’ll actually choose to go the joint family household route. But it’s charming that they’re so enthusiastic about the idea right now.
