Beachy

Beach pics. Anand was super-excited by the moss he found on some stones.  I got two chapters into _It’s Complicated: The Social Life of Networked Teens_. (Kavi isn’t a teen, but is already playing games online with her friends, so.) Mostly stuff I know, but a few useful frameworks already. Will report back when I finish it.

Jason brought his daughter Paris to join us at the beach. Burying in sand — never gets old. (Michelle brought her girls too, but sadly arrived just as the storm chased us away. We’ll try again!)

I feed him, I swear.

Our day at the beach was cut short by a sudden thunderstorm that blew up out of nowhere. Everyone else quickly started packing up and leaving — we stayed as long as we could before finally giving up when the wind got so fierce that sand was blowing into the children’s faces. Once we got them off the beach, Jason and I hung out a little longer and took a few more photos. It was kind of glorious and hilarious.
