After finishing the novel yesterday, went to the beach for the afternoon. The kids are so happy there; wish we lived a little closer. Mango with chili and lime, sun and water and a Kindle that is easy to read even in sunlight, a sportbrella that makes it v. comfy to lounge. I needed that.
Back to the writing mines today — trying to finish my Wild Cards story. I have surgery tomorrow, so that’s going to be a non-writing day, I think — it’ll be done by noon, but anesthesia, so will be woozy in the afternoon. But I can finish the story Friday if needed; we’ll see. I also have some Tremontaine revisions (minor) due Friday. Oof.
