I’ve slowly been buying Kavya some fairy figures over the past two years — one every few months. She’s got a nice collection now, and lately has been spending a goodly amount of time playing pretend with them. Anand was starting to get a bit jealous, so even though I wasn’t quite sure he was old enough to take care of them properly, he got two figures of his own today (along with a stern lecture on how he needs to be careful with them and not actually bash them into each other when they’re pretend fighting).
The two of them have been playing pretend intensely and happily with each other for the last hour. Electronic devices completely forgotten. 🙂
