I’m reading The Devil in…

I'm reading The Devil in the White City, by Erik Larson, which has been on my to-read list forever, but has finally been bumped to the top because I'm plotting a story set at the World's Fair. Just wanted to note that while this is nonfiction, it's really well written and entirely compelling; a real page-turner. Also, it's a little surreal reading so much interesting background about places I've spent a lot of time, including the Auditorium Building where I taught for two years; I knew it was famous, but I had no idea how important it was to Chicago and architecture. Neat.
