Two new scenes written, and I'm pretty sure I like them, all the way to the end of chapter 8, yay, and about 42,000 words into the book. Tomorrow, chapter 9? We'll see. Now, off to put a few irises in the ground for next spring, and then getting the kids from the bus, then getting dressed and heading off to the English department party + an actual tiny date with Kevin...
...except that we both have colds and are consequently tired, so the 'date' may mostly be taking the train home from the department party, wandering through a bookstore for half an hour, and *maybe* getting some dessert, if we have the energy. We talked about a movie, but I think we'd just fall asleep half an hour in. Home and in bed by 9, I suspect.
