Story drafted! Plotted at ICFA last night, first scene written then, rest written this morning, 3800 words total. It'll need one more pass, I think, and I want to check that I'm not totally flailing on the trans politics aspect, but I started crying when I typed the last paragraph, so I think I have *something* worthwhile here.
