Convincing myself that "it's stupidly cold out" is not actually a reason to call in sick. Even if I have cancer. I will have to call in sick for plenty of genuine medical issues soon enough. Choosing to live in Chicago is not actually a medical issue.
Though there are times during the winter when I wonder if it’s a mental health issue. 🙂
