Chilly morning in…

Chilly morning in Chicago today, made chillier by my getting to bed at 3:30 a.m. -- it's been a long time since I went to a reading that went so late. (Well, after dropping off Angeli and a bit of chatting and the drive home.) Had a terrific time at the In One Ear reading last night; a really strong set of performers, and I think they liked my featured set. Thanks so much for inviting me, Francisco! But I think I really have to start not doing events that late -- my body just can't take it anymore. I have one more late night reading coming up next week at WisCon, and I think it may be my last. At least I have Roshani's hot curry to warm me up, paired with hot tea. Mmm
