Writing day notes:…

Writing day notes: Generally successful, despite chaos. I revised "Communion" and submitted it to Clarkesworld, and did final edits on the grey hair piece for Salon and sent those in too. I was a little shocked to go to my submission tracking sheet and see that it hadn't been updated since 2013. I did submit at least one or two things in 2014, but apparently, I didn't write that down. Bad Mary Anne.

There were various people coming and going, some more chatty than others, and somehow my lunch break stretched for 30-45 minutes to 1.5 hrs. Oops. As much my fault as anyone else's, as I got distracted planning Kavi's Elsa costume and asking my friends for design advice. I think it's going to be purty.

I don't think I'm going to do another group writing day again this week, but definitely next week. And tomorrow, I think I'm going to spend some time in the morning making my office habitable -- it has completely degenerated into chaos over the last four months, and there's all sorts of stuff in there that should be unearthed and processed. I also want to put my Ragdale application together, since it's due Thursday.

I'm not going to try to write, though, because I have two readings in the evenings, and that is writerly-stuff-enough. In the afternoon, I will either nap or go up to Devon to get my sari blouse sewn for WisCon's banquet. A week is enough time to give them, right? I hope so.
