It's a little surreal, hearing your own phrases out of your child's mouth, especially phrases you didn't even realize were yours until you heard them repeated.
(I'd asked the four children to take all the toys upstairs, in preparation for today's party -- Kavi appointed herself in charge and organized the project. She has really enjoyed having three other children to boss around; she's going to be a bit mopey when Kat and her kids move out next week.)
