So chilly today. The bus was late arriving, and poor Kavi was freezing despite hat, scarf, coat, mittens -- I ended up unbuttoning my coat so I could shove her in there and then hold it closed around her so she'd warm up against my body. Bonus -- that actually warmed me up too; body heat for the win. I asked Kavi if she'd rather we left our house and moved somewhere warmer, and I was sure she'd say yes, but she said no, definitively. We appear to be raising a stalwart Midwesterner.
