Walk home from Anand's preschool; two blocks, full of color. Flood of yellow ginkgo leaves. Fothergilla has the prettiest colors in my yard right now; I'm hoping to add two more of these bushes next year. The huge tulip tree in the parkway. Fallen burning bush leaves on my front steps.
