Okay, it is kind of…

Okay, it is kind of killing me that none of the Kickstarter backers who got my book in ebook form almost three weeks ago has commented word one about it yet. Do you think they hated it and just don't want to upset me? It doesn't take that long to read a 40,000 word book.

I am actually thinking about finally going back to writing the next book (next week, when my semester should finally calm down), which is either going back to the mystery or the SF novel in the same universe as this one, and it would be a lot easier to figure out which to work on if I knew whether people actually liked this one. So I have a good *reason* to freak out.

  1. Hi! We have been busy and haven’t had time to read it. :^( Huh, but I am right now as it turns out looking for a book to read on my phone. Can I read your book on my phone? I bet I can! Hmm. I can! I will try to remember to come back and say Word One about it. :^)

  2. I have read about 100 pages of it. I have it on my work computer and read it only when I am taking a break from work, or during office hours when no students are here to see me. I am very much enjoying it. I am sad that it is not longer and that soon it will be over with. I do not usually re-read books, but when I get the hardcover copy, I will likely read it again in one sitting. I feel as though I am missing a lot by reading it piecemeal.

  3. You know what’s weird? I’ll read a story on a web page, in an emailed serial (that was awesome), or even in a word-processor document that I can reformat as needed, but I can’t seem to bring myself to read any length of PDF or other ebook-y format. Looking forward to my physical copy!

(I hope I remembered to go for the physical copy.)
