I suppose going into class and talking to my students is a little like having my own talk show. But I don't usually get to give them cooking tips. :-)
Manish and Monica…
Manish and Monica stopped by for tea this afternoon; they weren't here long, but it was a lovely little visit, and a great break in a long work day. While chatting, Manish said, somewhat out of the blue, that I should have my own show. And you know, that has never been on my list of ambitions, and the thought of being on tv is kind of terrifying -- but hosting my own show, I admit, sounds like fun. :-) The chance to rattle on at length about my party-planning philosophies, for example, would be very satisfying.
