Me: "Give me a hug! Give me a hug!" (It's been a long week, people.)

Kavya [stops and looks at me]: "Where's my please?"

I start laughing, but manage to get out a: "Please, Kavya?"

Kavya: "Please, what?"

And I very obediently said, "Please, Kavya, may I have a hug?"

And one was graciously bestowed upon me. Sometimes, I think I've taught this child too well.
