When Kavi was getting dressed this morning, she took a ribbon and tied it loosely around her neck. When I asked her to take it off, she tugged at it and tied it tighter. I said not to worry, that I would do it. And then I took the opportunity to impart a life lesson:
Me: "It is a rule of life, little girl, that you shouldn't tie knots you can't untie, especially around your own neck."
I don't know if that's actually a rule of life, but it should be. Also with her addendum:
Kavya: "Or around other people's necks."
