Elizabeth or Byzantine?…

Elizabeth or Byzantine? Elizabeth or Byzantine? Or heck, maybe Amelia?

We'd planned on anaglypta (traditional embossed wallpaper) for our backsplash (I love the patterns we have in the powder room and the front hall, and after painting, they're holding up well), but it turns out that anaglypta's not nearly waterproof enough (see pic below) for a kitchen backsplash. It's not easy to wash, and behind the sink it gets splashed enough that after two years, it's just peeling right off the wall.

We should've done lincrusta (a linoleum-based embossed wallpaper) to begin with, but it was notably more expensive. So now we're redoing it, sigh. Penny-wise, pound-foolish, as they say. We're going to run the lincrusta up the whole wall and paint it a soft off-white, I think. So my main concern is which pattern will work best with the art glass that we put in last year. Thoughts?

1. Elizabeth

2. Byzantine

3. Amelia

Update: Wallpaper guy came by today, and he's recommending Byzantine, because the small scale of the repeat will be less disrupted by the various cut-outs for outlets and switches in the backsplash. I'm going to the store to consider them in person on Monday.
