New artist on my radar; I bought two prints at WisCon by Kristin Kest. The SF/F art tends to be concentrated in two places in our house; there's a bunch of it on the staircase going up to the kids' bedrooms, and there's some in my study. "Book Werm" is for the kids, and "Joy Ride" (a Baba Yaga image) is for me.

I have to say, artists who do work with characters of color immediately grab my attention; it's still unusual. She's got some great pieces along those lines, although neither of the ones I bought feature them. I mostly picked up "Book Werm" because the girl in it looks like I imagine Kavya in five years or so. Also, books + dragon = good.
