Me and Jed, all spiffed up for the Guest of Honor speeches. I enjoyed Joan Slonczewski's, short and sweet, and Jo Walton's was especially great for writing teachers, since it was essentially a capsule lecture on characterization, both useful and funny. She promised me she'd put a copy online, so I will link it as soon as I can.
