I've just spent forty-five minutes on the phone trying, once again, to get an optometrist's records on Kavya to our pediatrician, so the pediatrician can write her a referral, which we may have to drive by and pick up, so that our insurance will cover her visit to an actual ophthalmologist to see if they have any thoughts re: treating her astigmatism. What would we do if Kev and I both worked 9-5 jobs that didn't allow us to make personal calls? And this is just a very minor medical issue. Yay, American health care.
