I admit, it's nice that on signing up for Submittable, you get an automated e-mail from the account manager saying they'd be happy to help you get started, and if you reply to the e-mail, you can have a phone call with a real person. I don't think I need it, but a nice policy -- I wish all the web services I used were so user-friendly.
