The kids got…

The kids got pizza-and-cupcake-making sets for Christmas this year from their aunties, and much mess was had by all. I failed to document the pizza-making process, but you do get to see some slicing, and there's lots of cupcake-making. The scariest part for me was when Kevin's mom showed Kavi how to crack an egg. I am maybe a bit phobic about eggshells getting into the egg bowl; I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to let her do it by herself. :-) But the results were pleasing to all. Maybe a bit too pleasing -- I used a really awesome Portsmouth frosting recipe from the Fannie Farmer cookbook (butter, cream, vanilla, and confectioners' sugar), and I ate way too much of it. Ah well!
